Our mission...

At RoundPeg, our mission is shaped by real experience inside the healthcare system — the kind that changes the way you see everything. After a life-altering spinal cord injury in 2009, our founder, Kris, spent years navigating a system that often felt confusing, rigid, and misaligned with what patients and families actually need.

RoundPeg exists to build something better.

We believe employees deserve real choices, employers deserve clarity and control, and health benefits should feel human again. Our mission is to help companies move away from the old one-size-fits-all insurance model and toward simple, flexible, employee-driven solutions that actually fit people's lives.

Kris Sanford

Kris is the founder and COO of RoundPeg. After a rollover accident at 18, he went on to break the quadriplegic hand-cycle distance world record and travel the country public speaking. Looking for a new challenge during his MBA, Kris started RoundPeg to help others navigate our unnecessarily painful healthcare system after struggling with it himself for over 15 years.

Now he manages our network of relationships with accountants, brokers and small businesses who are all interested in approaching healthcare differently. If you're interested in better outcomes and building solutions that truly fit, he's your guy!
